A change of perspective: My website with my eyes closed

Accessibility doesn’t start with a checklist, but with a change of perspective. What many people take for granted can be a real challenge for others. Digital accessibility therefore means far more than simply meeting technical standards: it creates access, enables participation and improves the user experience for everyone.

At our next BeerTalk, we’ll be focusing on digital accessibility. Together with experts from the Access for all Foundation and ETH Zurich, we’ll be looking at websites from the perspective of people with disabilities and discussing the impact that a lack of accessibility has on everyday digital life. We’ll then share our experiences from the certification process in accordance with the AA standard – from organisational challenges and internal shifts in mindset to the key insights we’ve gained from this as a digital agency.
