The existing digital solution no longer met the requirements of a modern shopping experience. Möbel Portmann was struggling with slow loading times, frequent technical glitches, a lack of payment gateways and an inflexible search function. The navigation and page structure also felt outdated and failed to adequately convey the brand’s high-quality image. For these reasons, the new website was designed to create a high-performance, stable and inspiring shopping experience. There was a desire for clear navigation, an intelligent and tolerant search function, emotive imagery, and flexible options for seasonal content.
With our new website and the integrated e-commerce solution based on Pimcore, we have taken the next step in our digital development. The collaboration was based on partnership and a focus on finding solutions, and the result is impressive.

During joint workshops and meetings, all pain points were analysed and, step by step, a strategic vision for the new digital platform was developed. Based on a thorough analysis, a clear concept and a well-thought-out UI/UX design, a modern solution was created that is impressive both technically and visually.
By closely aligning the data model with the ERP system, a stable and future-proof foundation was established. The result is a high-performance online shop with intuitive user guidance, high-quality visual presentation and a fast, tolerant search function based on Algolia.
The solution is complemented by a modern shop powered by CoreShop, including payment integration, a delivery cost calculator with Google Maps integration, and flexible and seasonal competitions that can be managed and controlled directly by Möbel Portmann.
